Antnee's Classy Item Filter for Distinguished Exiles - 3.0

Superb item filter antnee! I really like the colours GGG has allocated to loot (or maybe I've just been playing this game for too long) so couldn't really see myself changing them. The way low level items are still displayed during the leveling process (and once you level higher they disappear) is just amazing :)

Personally I'd change the colour for the "low value" currency to normal, but I just like picking up all the currency hehe

Just a small note for your "customisation" tutorial. You write:

Since you use the normal setting for medium-value currency it doesn't have a block. So you may just want to add something like:

Is it too much to ask for a simple file upload with the filter as it is (or will be with future updates) so that potato-heads with scripts (as well as people not fluent in the language) like me can simply download the file and put it in their documents? Im like completely lost, and i really like this more classic look. ( your very first version i had downloaded was fairly easy to use and modify in some extent)


On a side note, i see that the filter stops showing some stuff as you level up, does it still show rares even if they drop in an area thats 60+levels lower than you? (In case you need to farm for LLD gear etc.)

(If its not possible to satisfy my request can you at least make the instructions clearer? Like do i copy paste the whole wall of text, and then save it, do i remove something for the text, if not in notepad then where etc.)

Rares are always shown. Always. There are certain circumstances where they will be brighter than other rares, or have a dim border, etc. But will always show.

I don't use Github very often, so let me see if I can put together a download link for you.

The three numbers after SetTextColor refer to the levels of Red, Green, and Blue used respectively to generate a specific color.

You can find a selection of colors, or in your case shades of grey here http://www.rapidtables.com/web/color/RGB_Color.htm. If any of those boxes stand out for you, hover over it and it will show you the 3 numbers to use in the fields below.

Once you get an idea for what seems to work the best for you, you can manually enter RGB in the boxes above and it will get you a new shade. Really hope this helps you enjoy the game even further.

Now, I have a request of you. If you DO end up making a lot of changes to make everything more suitable to your eyes, could you link a copy of your version? I'd love to be able to post a colorblind version as well!
