I have traded some currency (10 ex) in between this account and new made account. It's really easy to track since both accounts were logging in from the same IP address. GGG have decided to lock that account though, no questions asked.

If it was any other account - that'd make perfect sense to me. Same IP though, isn't it no brainer it's me ?

Yet I'm here, being unable to lvl up new account. Currency that I moved there is also locked obviously. Account that I'm using right now works perfectly fine. Totally makes sense huh?

My previous thread got deleted. I believe, because you can't say anything against GGG. I can't see the reason why it got deleted - I've posted it to get any actual response other than - 'I've gone ahead and forwarded this over to the appropriate members' - this is not a response, this is a lazy copy paste.

Email support. Completely unresponsive. Upon asking for more human like replies, instead of copy pastes, all I got was even more ctrl+v. Nothing can be said, nothing can be done. Upon asking if anyone looked into my case already, more ctrl+v again saying same stuff over and over and over again. "Can't provide details' blah blah blah. Yeah - but I can, I moved currency from one account to another. If anyone there cared to realise that I in fact own both accounts, I think it'd be unlocked already.

This is pretty much why free to play games, also called freemium, sucks. I'm 100% sure if I had any issues with payment, that'd be resolved within a day. But hey, its just another person whining on forum, we could ban that person and it wouldnt change a thing.

This game is so much better than Diablo but I have to say, whenever I had any issues with any bliizard game - one phone call and bam, resolved. You can't even reach GGG on phone - I tried lol.
Guess I'll have to wait for never ending investigation to complete, since obviously milions of people play Path of Exile.

And before you even start with bs like 'you don't have supporter pack' - on this game, I've spent more than on Diablo 3 - way more in fact, cause lets get realistic - stash tabs are mandatory. Everyone knows it.

Treat it as a warning. Do not repeat my mistake. I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like I should buy even more stash tabs to fill GGG pockets, no mules allowed here. /rant

This sounds a little more like feedback than a support issue - I don't think I will be able to help out here.

Sorry for your loss dude, but speaking from experience the guys who do the investigations are pretty good. Busy as shit since they started banning people for those 3rd party hacks, but still pretty good.

You can bet your backside that if they say it is being investigated - it is being investigated.

Not that it is much comfort, of course.

BTW - of course the white knights will come out and defend them, we spend so much time here we need to have SOMETHING to do, right? Don't begrudge us our entertainment :)

That's the point. You can't say nothing because they can't deliever you any details. Also - do you really believe that investigation takes days ? hell no. That's my main problem, I will prolly not even know if I'm banned or not cause 'can't tell you details' BS going on.

Yeah, but remember that you go into a 'queue'. Its not like they are just sitting there waiting for an investigation to come up, they're devs and support team members who pull double duty.

Like I said, I'm sorry for your loss - I wish I had better information for you but I'm neither smart or knowledgable when it comes to the background operations. I only sees what I sees in replies and stuff.

I can imagine I'm not the only one. I just blame retarded anti rmt trigger as this is what caused my new acc to get locked. Nothing else that may have caused it. If I was truly involved into rmt though, both accounts would be locked already. Somehow, I'm still able to use my account just fine. That's why I'm so angry, because this retarded system fails to see the same IP for some reason. Game provokes you to have mule accounts if you can't afford/don't want to pay for ultra expensive stash tabs, but on the other hand if you trade in between your mule and main - stuff like this can happen. It's retarded. Obvious things like same IP address should be looked into before locking anyone up.
What do you mean by locked? Banned? If not banned, i think you are mistaken about what happened. Does your other account have a level 25 character? Is the problem that you can't trade away the currency from that account? If that is indeed the problem, then your rant is misguided. You need to have a level 25 character to trade away currency and uniques. If the account is actually locked and not banned, then you should be able to unlock it using email.

Yes, I lvled up to 30 for the sake of being able to use trade. It doesn't say I'm banned. What you wrote lead me to believe that u haven't read my rant at all. If anyhing, your comment is 'misguided'. I play poe with breaks since first open beta, I know exactly that you need lvled up char to be able to trade with anyone. Do you really think I'm that stupid to come here late night and rant, because I can't trade back 10 exalts ? About getting it back - well I can only hope. 2 days passed, no response.
And by locked I mean locked, you seem to have some issues with understanding what you read to be honest. No offence but your comment doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Well, they don't lock accounts for bannable offenses, they ban them. So I don't think you got locked because you triggered anti cheat software. What happens when you enter an unlock code? Or did you not try that?

This really sucks OP, but to be honest, I'm wondering why would you be transferring stack of exalts (one inventory slot) to a new account... will you be doing some low-level crafting with it?
Don't get me wrong, but this does look suspicious. You might be as well selling accounts with 10 exalts on them. Create an account, lvl it up, trade 10 exalts, sell the account. If system would allow you to simply trade that kind of currency, just because you have same IP, doing what I've pointed out would never be detected.
Wait for GGG to resolve, and I'd say try to avoid such trades in the future.
