How long will the Fortify buff last baseline? I assume the usual passives that buff buffs through effect or duration will apply as well? For example, a 15% buff to the effect would result in 28.75% reduced damage. So long as buff boosters are few it wouldn't be a problem to simply multiply it like that.

And yup, incoming Endurance on Melee Stun builds. Should be interesting. ^^

Do you guys have any plans for armor though? Even with Fortify it still feels like there's a discrepancy between armor and evasion because evasion can entirely avoid rider effects whereas armor gets hit full force by some of them.

One problem I see is that many non melee builds use "melee" weapons (sceptres, staffs).

Often these builds will find themselves in melee range and could benifet from this skill anyways.

Also offhand swap even for characters that use ranged weapons.


Main thing to ask is what is the duration on fortify? If it is too big, every character in the game could benefit from it. Too short and it would be a nuisance for every build that does not spam the skill (or whatever is linked with the support gem).

Sooo what i see happening, builds like incinerate/tendrils or whatever using this gem level 1 in cwdt, basically 100% uptime on this fortify buff. Sounds kinda overpowered.

Seems like a great idea, but I'm starting to wonder if people will still just avoid the whole left side of the tree and go EVA in combination with block and vigilant strike.

The cooldown mechanic seems very interesting, will you guys be adding this only to new gems? I think this would be a great way to improve older gems that are just unusable.
