What can be done about global spamming

Global spamming can be culled easily if GGG so wishes.
Ruthless BANNING of repeat (once or twice might be allowed to slide with mute) global traders would go a long way to calm things down. Ban their account, first 3 days, then week and if they still don't care, permanently. It has worked on other games and I have no doubt it will work in PoE aswell, tough skulls require tough measures. I personally am disgusted by blatant disregard of rules going on in global chat at the moment, especially in standard and I am afraid it will get worse once leagues merge once again. |

Sometimes when i am bored i spam global chat for fun, however i get reported and as result muted for at least 4hours everytime i do this. I know i know very interesting informations.

If players would actually just use the report feature for spamming instead of complaining on the forums about a problem they haven't even done anything to solve.
GGG has given players tools to use to combat spammers. But if you don't use them, they are of no use, and no amount of complaining will change that. You share the responsibility to use the tools given to you. "Come along fool, a direct hit to the senses will leave you disconnected."

" Yeah, GGG sure has nothing better to do than banning random people over 5 or more global chats over 4 different leagues. Yes Gobby. That would like 20+ people sitting on global channels banning people. Not sure if GGG can afford that. /ignore, turn global off. Also, use report.
