Divine Orb Legacy CoD
Since when did divine remove legacy mods?
Wasn't it only the values currently on the item being rerolled? Welp, the Legacy CoD with 10% MoM mod got removed upon Divine. But Divining a legacy kaoms will only get it to 500 HP and not add the Fire Damage. i'm not mad. But it seems kinda negative for the legacies no? Build:

" Well seeing how legacies shouldn't even exist like this in the first place.. | |
Well, now we know its sneaky even tho it says "Numeric Values". Build:

Divine on legacy unique variant will always change item to how it drops currently (current variant). Same with rare tiers that have been adjusted tho I believe only critical multiplier falls into this category. Legacy Iiq will roll appropriately if rare it will be by tier.
If unique it will roll current variant (as unique Iiq rolls were nerfed). Ggg will sometimes nerf a unique completely and not create a legacy variant -- acuities and crown of eyes are two examples. Last edited by faustian1 on Mar 13, 2015, 10:13:01 PM

" I don't think thats what happened to Kaom's Heart. I mean consistency is the issue here. For kaoms heart, you will get the 500 life, but not the fire damage. Whereas for CoD, you lose the extra 10% Mod which isn't a roll-able value. Build:

" Well, its not right. Agree that Kaom dont get fire dmg, when CoD lost one main mod (roll). Seems not right and need answer from GGG. Last edited by Helpmegod on Mar 13, 2015, 10:19:21 PM

Well, GGG any clarification? I understand the revert of item stats aren't allowed. But an explanation will be good! Because I believe most of us didn't see this coming when the Divine Orb will only reroll numeric values.

You're really asking for clarification? If you didn't "see this coming" it's because you ignored the QQ threads every time a unique goes legacy. Don't know how you could have missed that. It's only been this way forever. A divine orb rerolls values within the current tier. It never adds mods that weren't there. There is no current tier for +10% MoM. Therefore it rerolls a value of zero.
Koam's rerolls the 1000 life in the current tier of 500, making it 500. There was no fire damage on a legacy version so there is nothing to reroll. Name any legacy. It's the same for all of them and it always has been. They used to call it out for every item but they probably thought it was a waste of time since people didn't read the patch notes and still complained. I doubt you confirmed in the patch notes for 1.3.0 that it didn't say what happens if you use a divine orb on CoD, based on your utter shock that a legacy item would become non legacy if a divine orb was used. 1.0.0: " 1.1.0: " 1.2.0: " Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>

" I thought this info was pretty well known and it is available on the wiki if your not sure. Peace, -Boem- edit : ah and mark went all in and listed all the patch notes related to it. I don't see what needs clarifying.
If you have a legacy item that has subsequently had one of its mods removed using a divine orb on it will remove the mod. Seems pretty obvious. |
