I get the point of invitationals for PvP events - cut the chaff so that the best only compete amongst themselves. But _racing invitationals_? What the damn hell? The very nature of racing in PoE causes "the chaff" to fall behind, and there is virtually no distraction to the best ones, who can (and do) already compete with each other and only with each other during regular races. Is the need to provide bread and circuses ("prestige" race events) to unwashed masses worth the extra work and time spent? Would love to see more racing cups with commentary. If they're planning to set this up to be broadcast i think it good there's no free entry for the masses. why does this Ladder not have an official countdown?
