How to reach max block with a Witch

and back to my main questions. How do people get 78% block chance? What else besides the three items I mentioned above, are you suppose to wear? I dont get how you get thise 40+% missing block chance from equiptment.

You get it by being primarily on the bottom left side of the tree (melee characters mainly, spell casters stay on the top)

I thought so too, but the few nodices which provide not nearly the missing 41%. I checked every block point so on the skill tree. WHat am I missing?

Boots, Shield & Amulet are gone already, + tempest shield = 37% block.

Not a real build btw, but that's 41% there - note there are hybrid DW/shield block nodes.

I wouldnt have thought is was so difficult to get the 78%...unbelievable.

Haha, last league it was easy as fuck to get 75% block (the unique shield gave 40% block and you could get the rest in like 30 nodes)

It used to be a lot easier, but the devs wanted to buff "skill activations on block", so they dramatically nerfed block chance.

Please just give up on maxing out block for a spellcaster, jahstice. There are uniques that let you do it, but it's just not efficient, your DPS will die, please stop bumping this topic asking the same question. No one will give you the answer you want to hear, because it doesn't exist.

Another questions: How does acrobatics work with block chance? I couldnt find anything. In which order is it applied? 30% reduced block chance from your total? Like u got 75, u then lose 30%.
Or 30% loss fromy our base block? Or is it possible to stack way over 75% block so after the 30% block reduction u are left closer to the 75% gap?

Nah buddy, you'll need to read up on the multiplicative "LESS" and "MORE" versus the additive "DECREASED" and "INCREASED". Dw mate, I didn't get it till like a while into playing.

Acrobatics is a less multiplier - it's multiplicative on your total block (x0.7). And no, you don't take both together unless you want a bad character.
