1.3 Budget detonate dead build, uber killer, deathless, insane clear speed

Hello friends, this is my first time playing a caster build. I've been playing it for a week and I'm sure there is still room for improvement. I used OMG's detonate build as inspiration for this, make sure to check it out. Massive thanks to him http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/991083
Motivation behind the build

I wanted a build that can farm uber and the high level maps, while having great clear speed, and being pretty cheap. I had no idea where to start from, but I saw OMG's build a while ago and I decided that DD could be viable if I could make it work with a 5 link and make the gear more accessible.
Main idea behind the build

Our survivability comes from the witch flask nodes, 5 endurance charges, and 13 second immortal calls for when we want to consume them. Crazy leech when warlord's mark is combined with our damage. I'm also using a cloak of defiance, which seems to synergize well with DD as we can easily have a lot of unreserved mana ( only need clarity and 1 resistance aura )
A lot of damage combined with proliferation makes clear speed insane, you can run the entire uber instance in under 12 minutes with just a 5 link. Clear speed will be lower after proliferation nerf, but should be fine. We do insane damage against bosses because our damage scales with the HP modifier of the instance, and the fact it's lvl 80 corpses. We're able to use 5l over a 6l because most dd setups needs aoe gem, but we have all of the aoe nodes from the tree so it's not needed How to gear

You want to try to cap your resistances and get enough life, and energy shield on your gear for mana. Dexterity on your gear is very useful, as we need 95 dexterity (81 extra) to use detonate dead, or you will need to get dexterity from the tree. 30% movement boots is mandatory, as we can't use lightning warp due to skill duration nodes. Mana regen is nice, cast speed and fire damage is nice but it's not needed.

DD is not classed as a spell, so it only scale with elemental damage and fire damage Single target setup for trash and for vaals you swap faster casting and spell echo for For vaals ( this isn't really needed )

Burning proliferation is incredibly overpowered, just don't be stupid and you're fine

You can't ignite an enraged vaal, a lot of your damage comes from igniting. So you need to try to kill both at the same time, hitting the first one and then switching to the second one after first is ignited seems to work. This is by far the most dangerous part of the instance. You will die if one dies while the other has plenty of health. You can use a malachai's with storm call to lower their resistances if you want to, and drop warlord's mark from your curse on hit setup

Run to the cycloner first by following the wall on the right side, we don't want him to cyclone because we have very low chaos resistance. After that, just make sure you keep your IC up all the time and it's easy.
Uber main phase

Try to keep your endurance charges up at all times, it will make her spears hurt a lot less, and you will need to consume them for the split phase. Don't be too afraid to tank a flameblast if you can do damage at the same time, we have 93% fire resistance with flask up, and the fight is very short if we're able to do damage and you will instantly leech it up anyway. Spears combined with flameblasts is very dangerous though. Dodge all storm calls

Always go for spear clone as we can ignite her, you need to be able to spot her easily so we can preemptively curse her and cast desecrate on her. Do your best to dodge what you can while doing damage.

Curses

I'm running a dual curse setup, flammability and warlord's mark. Warlord's mark is great because you need the leech and it gives mana leech. Flammability is great for the increased chance to ignite and lowering resistances. I decided that I don't want to run 3 curses as elemental weakness only lowers resistances of bosses by a further 17%, which isn't a massive damage boost considering fire penetration gem and flammability. I have not decided what gem to use with curse on hit, I am thinking arc for trash and trio and storm call for atziri and vaals (So I can preemptively curse them while they spawn)

Really nice build! I was thinking about doing a fire trapper, but I'll probably try DD for the first time now :)
BTW, Seething Eternal flask? Why not Seething Divine? IGN: Victory_Or_Sovngarde

Sweet to see DD used for ubers.
When i played DD i usually used Quality Increased Burning Damage instead of chance to ignite. Are you using it solely because of the swapping for bosses? | |

Nice one (again!). I'm always amazed at how well people can dodge the atziri attacks (especially in the split phase). Maybe I'm too old or maybe I just have crap reflexes, but I always seem to stand right in the middle of them :D
