So this is Reddit?

Your build is bad. You got some pretty valid feedback in the reddit thread that could make it not bad. Use it.

I'm gonna be selling its gear soon anyway... well, mainly the marohi... so i can work on another build with the exalts i get from marohi... i actually wanna make a decent build, my incinerate was the best feedback one so far... but, idk... its demotivating to see so much negative stuff...

I'll give you this; you put yourself out there. Beyond a short hey guys I did this weird thing couple of sentences in a certain Charan thread, it's more than I would do by far. The internet is cruel, we all know that.

But seriously... Lightning penetration. Hatred. Very valid feedback. Don't throw the baby out just yet.

I put up a friendly build guide, and, well, it gets pooped on by redditors...

Is this why no one really uses Reddit anymore? :P

I've no idea, don't really use it myself. But since you've mentioned the guide here, and I've been leveling a static strike gem on the back burner of my main... I will have to check it out. Thanks for putting the time into making a guide, I'm sure it will help make the new character a lot more fun!

i know, i know...

This is my second official build guide aswell, so, i guess its hitting me hard because... ive always wanted to be someone to look up to, or someone who people can turn to for advice... i know alot about this game, ive been playing for a long time, ive been experimenting with builds for ages... its just, this was mainly an experimental build... so, i did expect some negative feedback, but i think i took it too hard and too... personal so to speak...

daily reminder that people like him find these items and make "builds" then call others noobs and get butthurt when they get schooled.
Reddit PoE is populated by an even higher per capita percentage of elitists than this site is. It's best to stay away from reddit PoE.

did you know, that with every drop in my signature, i sold it, and gave the exalts away to friends who needed it?

Did you also know, the mirrors that dropped for me, i gave 1 to my friend so he can mirror a loathe bane, and i sold the other one to buy gear for the guild?

Did you know that not once have i ever bought gear from the sold items in my signature?

Yet, I glean a far higher concentration of useful information from Reddit than I do this forum.

At The Cost Of Your SOUL!
Here's a revised tree that I would recommend taking a look at.

It drops some damage nodes, but has a ton more life, picks up all the endurance charges, has plenty more armour, and takes the 4% phys reduction node too. Even with the loss of damage nodes, if you take the advice mentioned elsewhere (either dropping the lightning>phys gem or getting penetration, using melee phys and weapon ele etc) you'll more than likely end up with a lot more overall damage anyway.

Another thing I would suggest would be to get a 5link chest (not too expensive), and then run auras in gloves (Hatred and Herald of Ash, reduced mana), then in the chest run Vaal Groundslam - Vengeance - Melee Phys - Endurance Charge on Stun - Life Gain on Hit. This will make the two of them hit harder, as well as providing great survivability.

I get that negative feedback can be hard to take, but if you're going to put out a guide then you need to learn to take it on the chin, and learn from other people's advice.

Calling other people noobs and getting overly defensive means people wont take you seriously, and just makes you look bad. It's alright to question what people tell you to change, but do so intelligently, and dont just refuse good advice out of stubbornness.

So, you put together a badly optimised build which attempts to scale damage in all the wrong ways, has poor defenses, and then complain when people tell you that? If you actually read the comments you would see people actually suggest ways to improve things and make the build work. Oh, and it's not a reddit thing, people point out the flaws on the build thread itself.

how do you scale damage the wrong way in this game? i took 2h nodes, im using a 2h weapon, stop being a noob.
