While it is truly an epic chest arguably worth more than what would be spent in chroming/mirroring it the issue I have is the mirrored item isn't nearly as valuable especially when it is a chest on default. Outside of 2-Hand/Bow builds the chest is the keystone for end game skill+support combinations. So not being able to chrome the sockets for use with different supports or for a different character in the one piece where it matters most is a big negative.

I agree with you. Nevertheless there is no build at my knowledge that requires ABSOLUTELY 5 specific support gems to actually be good. You can always link a Item Rarity/Quantity if the sockets don't fit for another build.

People really need to read the part with the chromatics process, you supply the chroms for getting the colors you need, then mirror, then chroms again for the initial colors of original (supplied by you ofc)
You need to be realistic about the colors wanted, eg red with strenght, blue with int and green with dex.
