Or 10. Thanks for proving my point.
Wow... Really? Least I got a laugh out of it. Thanks for wasting our time :-)
I only expressed my opinion. Last time I checked I was still able to do that. You also admitted that you do skip certain mods. That to me shows that you cant do literally all content without the RMT / streamer / nolifer / scrubcore mirrored level gear.
Yeah, that's not the original argument you made...
You're also still wrong, but I sympathize with your point. It's an insane amount of work to make a build that can run everything. Much easier to RMT.

Well GGG [...] are not bad developers
They use a self developed engine (for no reason, there is a shitload of engines out there like Crysis and UE3/4) that can't even handle 2 skills at once, have an enormous amount of loading time (I play with a SSD) and desyncs like shit.
GGG is not bad, they totally suck when it comes to technical things.

The thing I like about D3 relatively (rocking season 2 atm, paragon 250 4 days into the season so not doing too bad) is that there is no top end. You facerolled the content? Cool, raise the grift level another couple points and beat that 15 minute timer. Good luck. And it doesn't end - it's a never ending competition to clear harder and harder content to be at the top of that leaderboard. (whereas PoE... measures its players by how much exp they have gained. D3 measures you by what difficulty of content you have cleared. THIS is the biggest part for me - if map levels scaled to infinity and we had to assemble some godmode 6man mirrored party to try and push higher than that other party, the end game would be amazing. But they can't do that - because they measure you by exp and cannot let you level too fast to reach cap.)
Just how much has D3 endgame content changed with RoS?! I played D3 when it came out, continued through Inferno, and played until there were 100 Paragon levels (I only hit Paragon 20 or so back then), and cleared Inferno Diablo without taking any sizeable amount of damage in seconds with a Critical Mass Wizard build.
When I booted up RoS for the first time, my critical mass build was solidly and completely nerfed (not just relative to monster strengths; the passive to lower cooldowns on critical hit was removed, so my 55% crit chance was good for sustaining my arcane power and nothing else). So I went through, beat the new final boss on a difficulty now called torment 1 (barely hitting 70 at the end) and never picked it up again (because gameplay had gotten even more painfully boring since I had already picked up PoE by that time).
Is endgame content really that much more fun (and extant) now? It just didn't feel worth making another build from scratch....

No fair comparison ... D2 is a legendary status game that will never be emulated in greatness and style as long as devs keep fucking with shit and thinking they have an MMO on their hands.
So the developer sucks. It is a fair comparison, same genre = Hack'n'Slay.
That PoE fails in nearly every way to D2 is GGGs fault.
Wouln't D2 be limited to 800x600 I would play Median XL Ultimate all day, it's so much better than PoE. But on a 1920x1200 display it's just ..... unplayable.
Well GGG and mosqueira team (for ROS, not the wilson team cuz that team was terribleeee) are not bad developers and they both have an amazing basis to build on - they just need to stop tinkering all the time with stuff that does not need to be changed. They both try add content and fix existing stuff at the same time, it's a lot to contend with. And it seems like a lot of these devs do the exact opposite of what fans want every single time.
Although D3 was never in a better state then during the wilson team , they got a lot of crap but the game has only become worse since that time.

Grifts dont come down to skill or gear at all later on. they come down to how lucky you get in the rift. i.e diffrent shrines mobs and boss. If it was about gear and skill that would be a pretty cool idea to bring into poe 100%

How much endgame does this game have and how much is it patched/updated with new content? Diablo 3 seems pretty dead.
No endgame really, just endless maps producing near unreadable screens of text (shit item drops) that you get bored of trying to decypher.
Come back for 1.4 when maybe that will change.. *maybe*
I saw a video of d3 drops a few weeks ago and it was cool to actually be able to know when something cool has dropped.

Diablo 3 and poe endgame are pretty much identical gameplay-wise. The main differences are you can roll modifiers on maps (literally rifts) and gear progression is significantly worse in the endgame. You can't fiddle with your gear's mods like you can in diablo 3 so you wind up getting nowhere and not improving your gear even incrementally for dozens or even hundreds of maps until you win the jackpot and get a weapon that lets you destroy screens in moments.
The levelling process is a lot more fun in POE though.

Yeah, I love dropping forgotten soul after forgotten soul and not even looking at any items that don't have a beam of light.
