[1.3.1] Tri-Element Equilibrium Trapper (budget atziri's killer)

Well, level 92 came and I just hit a wall. 77-78 maps just proved to hit too hard when I took damage. I had 4K life with maybe 1.5k ES with very little physical damage mitigation outside of fortify and golem.

I was also suffering from unbearably slow clear speed. So I've switched some things up and seem to be on the right track but I need more life. Simply put, need more dps and survivability.

I dumped acrobatics and phase acrobatics. Everything is fine UNTIL you get hit. Then you take an unholy amount of damage. Also I felt like I was wasting some gem slots anyway and I wanted to tighten my traps up-- meaning: use less of them and make them hit harder to avoid running around getting beat like a piñata. Shock nova multi-trap, while reliably shocks packs of enemies, simply lacks the dps to keep up in higher levels.

So...I experimented and experimented endlessly... leveling up different gems while tinkering with new ideas ..yada yada. Then I decided to see what I could do with utilizing block. With so many block nodes near me in the shadow area and even a couple up in the witch tree it seemed a natural option to at least try. I always wanted to do lightning damage with this build anyway, so I gave Tempest Shield a shot.

Here's where it got interesting. I hated cold snap because of the long cooldown. So I dumped it. q20 level 20 cold snap & shock nova collecting dust in my stash. I said screw it I'll try this Three Dragons helm
and freeze with my lightning. Viola! Boys, Three Dragons works nicely with a lightning trapper. You can spam lightning traps with a fast cooldown, keep tempest shield up with some support gems (and mana leech) to add more freezing and dps, and a vaal lightning trap just for giggles when your others are on CD. I open with a single 4L fire trap to shock (Three Dragons) and blast them all to hell with a 6L multi-lightning trap. Everything freezes. Repeatedly. Even rares and uniques. Finish off with Fire trap.

Back to the defense: Block chance is around 29%, (14% to block spells thanks to Rainbowstrides
), evasion 9%, 5% physical damage reduction with a lvl 22 minion

I'm still only partly into fixing this little princess because I need more life and need to alter my jewels and switch out my current shock jewels for 7% life and some freeze chance/duration. The next big addition will be Rumi's Concoction Granite flask to add block chance during big encounters.

Gear: Going to buy a Rumi's Concoction and need to replace my dagger but that's about it. Most of the tweaking lies in leveling up gems and replacing jewels

My char is very weak, if my char is bleeding i die almoust instantly and also my damage isnt high on act 4.

i needed to add +30 dex and +30str nodes because all str and dex skills from page 1 of this topic need plenty of them! I even needed to buy str amulet

I hadn't been playing much POE of late, but from a quick look at your gear and tree, I would advise to take out acrobatics and phase acrobatics and just grab more life for example.

The issue is that in the current patch for mind over matter to work with eldritch battery you need aloooottt more energy shield, otherwise you are always resource starved.

Taking the points to reach Acro and fill it, I took quite a bit more life all around (shadow and templar are life nodes are really nice):

If you feel that what you need more isn't life, try to take the Celestial Judgement / Celestial Punishment to the left of Templar instead of all the life. But you don't have enough energy shield to run the skill tree you were using atm.
