I did some testing and a level 77 chaos dot zombie barely dealt any damage to my unreserved health. Even the jungle valley boss isn't really a problem if you're not just standing there letting her EK a at you.

Ok so

1) you need to buy very specific rings(life regen, life, accuracy, chaos res....)

2) the currency you need to spend in them , its not worth it... Better buy a shavs and you can even run a shitload of mf..

I have tested it with lvl3enhace + 20/20 BM + 20/20 BR and all i can tell you it is....

Not worth the effort. I used like 1ex chroming and shits. I have a video too

I don't know why, but this thread made me wanna try low life w/o Shavs.

I chose EK, since I already had Ming's heart, CoD for some defense, es/eva gear for some extra evasion, Vertex for auras, spent 71 regret and, boy, it sucks :)

1900hp (650 unreserved), 7000es, ~30% eva all res maxed and 10k EK dmg. It's just not enough..

5L - EK + Faster cast + Spell echo + Added fire + Life leech





Do you have any suggestions how to make this end game viable? :)

The very premise of this topic is flawed. Lowlife blood magic is one thing, but for most lowlife builds, stacking life is completely pointless. 75% chaos resist is not an acceptable substitute for Shav's. With all of my auras up, I have 152 unreserved life. That means that I can only take 608 base chaos damage before going down. It doesn't take atziri to land that type of chaos hit, guys. Hell, any "poison on hit" map would become instantly unplayable.

You could drop an aura. The benefit of a chest like Voll's on a crit build is immense if you're willing to deal with the ES cut.

Most of you people lack the resources to make such a build work, much less have any knowledge on it. Half the people here didn't even know +/-max applies to chaos res. Almost nobody knows the value of life regen. I guess these people are the same as the average redditor who has zero game knowledge but thinks they know what they're doing.

But hey, being able to carry 4man atziri groups just fine as well as not dying to 75 museum and jungle valley boss doesn't mean anything, right?

Map bosses that aren't on uber atziri's map are all easy....

Kralj, for damage I suppose you should invest in crit. Your build runs near the good crit nodes anyway. I'd ditch the CoD for a proper ES chest, ditch the middle ES and hybrid wheels and spec crit and cast speed. Without MoM you might save a few mana regen nodes. Shield ES nodes are worth looking at also.

I was not looking for a substitute for Shav's, sir, im trying to open the Low Life world to the other chests, it means ''the same as Shav's/Solaris?'', no, it means just ''open'', open to new options like low life Voll's Protector or low Life Soul Mantle with just some chaos res items.

About your max life, this thread is about hybrid builds, not pure ES, and as you can see i said ''30 to 35% low life must be our max'' because we need a little pool of life, we are not immune against chaos after all.

And about ''poison on hit map would become instunplayable'', there its a lot of guys playing something like this and the only problem they got in high maps is the Spider boss EK poison (didnt remember name or map).

My english is not really good so maybe my explanations was not enough clear, sorry.

75% chaos resistance makes the high level chaos damage a joke, try it yourself, pick a witch with 1000HP and chaos res cap, and give her just 1 to 5% life regen in low life.

The thread is edited and improved, now i did a comparison between Vertex and TBC and i added some things like Saffell's.
