Indeed, major pain to handle this with the current prediction model.
It's already enough trouble to position yourself versus doors as it is, so making a mobile target come to you...

All I want from melee now is the ability to miss like my bow ranger does and still kill mobs off screen.

Desync would make a skill like that not usuable unless they can program it in a way the local perfectly can stay sync.

For getting in melee range, it will be sufficient the removal of that senseless recharge time in Flicker strike. The real problem is that armor sucks, and i am still waiting the birth of some more powerful skill tree nodes like Soul of steel, but more effective than this. For example, in my opinion should exist two twin clusters in marauder/duelist area, each one composed by 4 normal nodes (each one giving +5% flat physical damage reduction) + 1 notable (+10% physical damage reduction +2% to all max elemental resistances). This way, with an heavy investment of 10 skill points (heavy because after this must be taken life nodes, damage nodes, accuracy nodes, aura nodes etc), it will be possible to survive physical hits (+60% total physical damage reduction) and to have some boost against elemental too (+4% to all max resists)

It's impossible to balance melee for the masses. Because the majority of the masses seems to think a melee character should be able to face tank everything. And if that's possible for the masses, then what the hell is the point of a challenging game?

Scored a critical Tornado Shot on my archer last night on a group of mobs. Walked a few screens over and found a pillar of green light and a pile of loot.


One shot spirits off screen.. My melee really would like that.
