Leveling gems at high level ?!

" Exactly, since gems suffer no xp penalty you want to level them in the highest area that you can clear quickly, very quickly. That being said, I would go buy a lvl 18 gem for like 1c and just play normal :D Edit: or swap to a different lvled skill. Or use a lvled support gem like A chaos. Join some group for hour or two or ask friends to play with you for a while that you need to get your gems to level 13-15 to be able play =) If you have some high lvl friend he could possibly take you for some atziri run or Poorjoy (unique temple map) where gems levels insanely fast.
