Best way to 5L/6L

Should I buy like 150 fuse and just go for it and hope for a 5L with possible 6L?

Take the guaranteed 5L from Vorici?

Or keep doing the lotto thing? 68 fusings used so far and no luck

just do it manually with a 1% quality before each try

I manage to 5L pretty often doing it without the master, but for 6L I think I'll just cry ;)

How many fusings do you guys usually get it in?

I've managed a 6 link in less than 100 fusings, and yet I still have a Carcass Jack that has never yielded a 5-link with at least 1000 fusings thrown at it in despair.

They don't call it RNG because its structured and easy to estimate :)

Just go for it.

6l'd this in 47 fuses before the update's downtime.




EDIT: It's totally worth it to risk it and roll the dice sometimes, is all I'm saying.

At each League end, I throw ALL currency in fuse and throw them at my shavs, 2800 used so far and no 6L, many also with Q first. I do it for fun, as I don't play standard (just for build testing thanks to tree reset)

Depends on the situation.

If you need the 5L or 6L, then you Vorici it. If you have no 5L, you definitely Vorici it.

If your item is not replaceable--say, you have a really high roll item with lots of wide ranges like Queen of the Forest or Doryani's Catalyst (although this is 3L, this is a good example of a huge range of rolls)--then you use Vorici, especially if the item is already a 5L.

If it's a white and you're going to be crafting, you do it the old way.

If it's an item that is replaceable--say, a 10ex bow, which is expensive, but still replaceable with a 40ex 6L bow--then you roll against RNG.

If it's cheap, you skip both and just buy the 5L or 6L.

The best way to 6L is to buy a case of your favorite beer (you may need 2 cases) and after each fusing attempt, drink a shot of beer. You may not get a 6L but you won't care either.
