Unfortunately with public witch hunts there is one problem, the same reason there is the "no naming and shaming" rule, people will accuse innocents, because people are dicks.

I feel in the long run it will only hurt the game and the community.From what we know the cheats tread the grounds of QoL and unfair advantage, but the advantage isn't on the level of instance crashing to craft or RMT.
Just remember that all the cheaters and exploiters are people too, like me and you. Witch hunts usually paint the people as scum and amoral characters who are the "enemy". Obviously the cheaters and RMTers play this game and like it, or they wouldn't be cheating in the first place. This game and community can bring you to a low point some times and weak characters might just not have the moral high ground like us to resist cheating.
