I love it and think it's loads of fun!

The downside is of course that, like most gaming communities (but always seemingly moreso in these moba genres), the general populace is laced with toxic and shitty people. There is an excellent guide on Reddit (very outdated unfortunately) by Purge, a pro gamer, called "Welcome to Dota. You suck." You play any game like League or Dota, and from the get go you're instantly expected to know each and every little thing about the game. You'll be flamed for being a noob, to uninstall, etc etc, and there is a very steep learning curve.

Despite all that however, overall it's a fantastic game and I still enjoy playing it, having played since the Wc3 days of DOta 1, even helping Eul beta test his version of dota back in the day.

I also love watching pro dota. As rapid as football or other sports fans get, we get hyped about dota as well. The International is the biggest tournament of the year hosted by Valve themselves, and one day I'd like to attend in person in Seattle.

Nah, i 've quit for like 7 months now. I did log in to test 1.2 and 1.3 rebalances but did not play. As of now i am pretty convinced that i won't even be playing act4, but the forum has been proven far harder to quit than the actual game.

Nah, I'm way to into Chicken Invaders 5 - Cluck of the Dark Side atm.
