I'd suggest that for the first character on a new account, it could auto join you to this channel at level 40 or 50, or otherwise give you messages about the existence of said channel. The benefit as compared to the forums is that you're now easily finding people in the same playing hours (because they are also online), and you are having a discussion chatting with them live. Sounds like the speed dating equivalent of guild recruitment. But I'm fine with that. If this takes nearly no effort because it uses things that already exist, then it's pretty much a no brainer to let people have. Agree only 1 message in game would be enough if not possible to have auto-join function. Besides, this isnt even a suggestion but some player to player interaction thing and its been stickied in the proper forum as you said. GGG should lock this thread.
