You're going to need more than 1 application to test this.

Furmark, Prime95, MemTest86+, etc.

You need to test ALL the components simultaneously (after testing each one individually)
I testet all components simultaneously thats what I was trying to say....

Im gonna try testing them individually

Can you link the exact test/software you used to test with?

I'm not familiar with one called "load test", and I'm not aware of any good testing software that is "all-in-one" and can test all the components simultaneously.

I've always had to test each component using testing software designed to test each component individually.

edit: this one? http://www.jam-software.com/heavyload/

yes
Hello silas991, I have been having the exact same problem for 5 months now. It started with 1.2 and happens generally in parties from time to time.

It is completely random, in no way related with the PSU (I have a 750 watt gaming bronze quality PSU, still happens). I also have a potato quality laptop, even played shatter chuck cast on crit on that laptop, no crashes whatsoever (radeon graphics card, lower ram, lower everything).

I have met another user experiencing the issue in-game, what I noticed is that this problem tends to occur with geforce 6xx cards, specifically gtx 660 and gtx 670.

Since I do not have the option to replace graphics card or the mainboard (both that user and I had gigabyte d3h-z77 mainboards) I couldn't test replacements.

However that user fixed the problem by flashing his motherboard to the latest beta revision, deleting his audio driver, disabling onboard audio and using only nvidia HD audio, connecting his hdmi cable to this monitor and getting sound from there (Which I cannot do because my monitor doesn't capture PC HDMI signals correctly).

That gave me the idea to disable sound and play like that, but it still happens when you are in a party sometimes. Funny thing is, I can go without crash with a mjölner discharge guy and me cast on critting for 20+ procs per second in 1.2 but crash another time with a tornado shot guy in party or even when a fire trapper throws a trap.

I am now playing SRS in 1.3 and it still happens in parties so its nothing about load. If you check your windows events, you will see that it is a critical power failure (event 41 or 61 can't remember) and not a BSOD. BlueScreenView can find no dumps of crashes, because its a power failure.

I have used like 10+ pc testing and benchmarking programs now with 12+ hours of tests. System is as stable as it gets (Though there is no way to properly stress test sound). I can run dragon age inquisition which uses cpu at 50-90% and gpu at constantly 80+% because that game is also NOT OPTIMIZED.

I suspect that there is a problem with the network communications of Path of Exile and the .ogg format sounds they store as audio.

For example, did you ever notice that when a party clears stuff ahead of you and you are trailing from behind, you can see the party killing animations when you try and catch up with them. If they have cleared a place and you go there, even when the map is finished, those little animations and sounds play. I suspect there is some work not done in the game code, which buffers those stuff and blurts it out as you catch up. If in that blurting out, your sound driver or graphics driver cannot handle some stuff, your PC just reboots. However, this is only a theory scenario to be honest and has its plot-holes :D

I am off to playing other games at the moment, started with great hype to 1.3, but if I cannot reliably party with people, then I cannot really enjoy the game. Sad, considering I have been playing for more than a year now.

If I was somehow certain it was a motherboard issue, I can replace it, but replacing the graphics card with a gtx 670 calibre one is an expensive replacement.

Best of luck, pm me if you ever get a reliable solution to this issue, or you are onto some clue :)
This needs more looking into for sure.
