Is there support for UHD TVs?

The thing to remember most of all is that 4K for PC is a new thing. Only those with dual VGA are going to actually render anything at playable fps. You can get away with it on some gtx 980/970 setups but the fps isn't ideal for most gaming.

Also the monitors available aren't good. They use TN panels for quick response times (1ms on the box but in reality it's 5-15ms under load so don't be fooled). They also only run in 30/60hz. 30 is useless for anything other than image editing. 60hz is fine for most gaming but those who want to be FPS pros will be wanting a 144hz monitor.

This year is a big change for the 4K market. Korean knock-offs are currently the best option but only come via ebay. At the end of this year we will see more IPS panels for those who want the better quality. In 2016 you will be able to buy decent 4K monitors for peanuts whilst they start to roll out 8k/9k to catch up with hollywood.

I would never EVER suggest a UHD television for gaming. With response times on the box of 15ms and upto 50ms in reality they are not suited for the PC at all.

The wise man is spending his money on 1440p right now. The ASUS ROG Swift is the gamers choice with a 144hz screen @ 1440p and sporting Nvidia G-Sync for those with Nvidia cards.

I don't think it has 4k textures...i seem to recall one of the devs saying that the texture resolution was over 1080 (or the were aiming at it) but it wasn't as high as 4k.

Texture resolution has nothing to do with screen resolution or number of pixels on screen.

I play all pc games on 48" TV, works fine for me.

lol...screen size isn't relevant. Resolution is.
Screen size =/= resolution
