Coming up with le funny stories and putting greater-than signs before each line is not "quotes". In order to quote someone, you have to copy what they have said earlier in a thread and paste it without changing. Hope I could help, newfriend.

Those sprinkler obelisks do crazy damage if you move with the spray and stay in it. You're better off just standing still. More of a cyclone issue than an across the board melee one.

I still think the two additional projectiles map mod killed him, without it he prolly would've been fine.

It's funny, his character name and the noise the character made when it died are the same.

With just one totem and no additional projectiles, he would have probably survived.
Maybe even with one totem and additional projectiles.
But 3*3=9 times the damage, that was enough.

Fair? Sure. HC is about getting killed. He got killed.

My strat for obli's is to take my pants off, dive in and wipe them all at the same time. Come to think of it, that is my strat for every pack. M3/33 4 life

This. I made the personal choice to play melee in Bloodlines with a nerfed spec (crit evasion melee, no block), and I know this choice prevents me from going head first in rooms/packs. If I do it and I die, I won't blame the state of melee. When I see an obelisk pack, I know that I can't jump on it like that guy did. This pack was totally manageable as melee.

This video shows nothing about the state of melee specs in PoE.
