What's exactly the Sceptre of God?
So I just finished killing Piety and Grigor says that she was allowed to carry the Tower Key, but then he says he can't imagine what's in there that Piety and Dominus were afraid to enter there... so I'm confused, Dominus didn't give Piety the key? It's not known who did? also; what tower?
"It's the one key to the Sceptre of God, on the northern edge of the Blackguard encampment. Only Piety was permitted to carry it. Dominus accessed his laboratory at the summit of the tower via a pulley system rigged to the outside wall. That way will be barred to you, and I heard of no one, not even Piety, going in or coming out of the lower levels. If you find that key then go with care, exile. I can't imagine what's inside that tower if even Piety and Dominus feared to tread its steps." |

Rumour has it that croaking chimerals inhabit the lower floors.
Exponentially more powerful than dominus and all previously discovered life forms, they made the perfect defense. No one has encountered a bullshit mother fucking frog without smashing their keyboard across stuffs. "just for try, for see and for know"

" Just reread it and I understand the sceptre of god is the tower and that Dominus goes to the summit of the tower via a pulley system instead of going up the stairs but then why did he give the key to Piety? Still feel like I'm missing something. |

" I agree with that. The first time we entered Lunaris 3, we knew we were going for the climax of everything we did so far in the game. The music, the atmosphere, the mobs, the zone in itself, everything in Lunaris just have that feeling. When you climb the Sceptre of God however, except maybe the music there is almost nothing that tells you're in for what is supposed to be the final epic encounter compared to Lunaris. IGN : @Morgoth

" "Because she's fucking insane and his second in command. If anyone should hold the key to such a terrible place, it's her." love it I see what's funky about that picture... don't know how I was supposed to guess this, ever. I'm assuming, then, that Act 3 came out with Piety at the end and Dominus was added as the end boss later on, like, months later. In that case "Act 3x" means Act 3 including the extra content after Piety. I see what you're saying about that second paragraph, I agree. So let's see if I got this straight; Mr. Dominus chills at his lab which is at the top of the tower all the time using an elevator or some sh** that he built that's connected to the outside wall, yet he and Piety are scared to go through the tower itself in order to get to the top? " Basically yes. The miscreations in Lunaris are their minions while the undying and the animals in the Sceptre are probably hostile towards them. I have to say I expected scarier stuff in the Sceptre based on those descriptions before it was added to the game, something along the lines of devourers and the giant skeletons. | |
Dominus was scared to enter the tower and take the stairs, so he took the external elevator.
He was scared of the game's real final boss
