What should the design goal of the community designed unique be?

Oh man, tough call for me between the trap or armour/evasion options. Armour and evasion could use some love with block chance as it is (although it sounds like there are incoming block nerfs). While armour needs the most help right now, really I'd like to be able to do more with evasion...

Whatever asshole votes critical effects: go to hell. ;)

We need something to make armor interesting. Or maybe totems, mines or traps.

You know what might be a neat idea, making all projectiles boomerang.
I think it would be a interesting mechanic to work with as it would fundamentally change how you play with projectiles.

In either case I would like something that changed the way you play with them, rather then just increase projectile speed or something mundane like that. A difference in kind.
Hm....How about this? (Thinking of restricting this to melee so it's not just totally uber, but I like it so far) Numbers can change. Elemental attackers need some loving too.

Crits have 100% total multiplier (normal damage)
Your Attacks can't shock, ignite, or freeze.
Crits now add +1 AoE per 10% crit multiplier lost in this way for a single target ability, or per 15% for AoE ability
If the attack would have shocked, the attack repeats at the next closest target, with 0% chance to shock. (kinda like the
If the attack would have ignited, Enemies in the area become singed, losing 20% resistances
If the attack would have frozen, enemies in the area are now brittle, reducing armor by a % based on your chance to freeze.
Please vote for brotem mods so maybe dual spell totem won't suck ass.

I think that additional armor/evasion options would be a good option as with the slight block nerf a lot of builds might find themselves on the squishier side.

But even if you are not using block, most builds can benefit from getting a fair bit of tankines from items so you can focus passives on even more tankiness or more damage as you please.

A lot of projectile based/crit bow based builds already do plenty of damage so getting additional damage from the belt seems redundant.

there is already a master craft mod, projectiles return that you can craft on your weapon
