A dropped rare has ALWAYS at least 4 mods (4 mods != 4 lines!), so it is NEVER useful to add the multicraft mod.

This is an very useful information, that would have prevent me the loss. Never heard about it before. So yeah with that knowledge in mind its my own stupidity.

But on the other hand, it is not well designed. So as a consequence remove the mods and sell it to the next unlucky person, who never heard about the 4 mods drop thingy? Hmm...
if the weapon has more then 169% phydmg, it covers allrdy 2 lines of the 6
didnt know about the minimum of 4 mods on dropped items, either. And I only played for a long long time :P

Hejren / Triceps / Regnbuen / Sarinti / Striglen / Mareridt / Spoegelset / Doktoren / Dobbelganger / Skjoldtrold / Forkynderen
Don't feel bad I rekt myself trying to craft this bow.

Still there should be a way to be sure of the number of affixes, what if you buy it and the other person tells you it was crafted and it has only 3 mods.

I dont understand why.

Well it must have two dmg rolls and an ar roll? Is there any way to see such things before spending 2 ex for multimod? Otherwise this is stupid. We need the info how much affixes are left on an item. Never ever add multimod to an rare item that dropped.

You are not serious of course...
You see the %physical and a small accuracy roll bellow. You don't have the game knowledge to recognize the pseudo and then you ask for info that is already out there while being mad?

Don't blame anyone but your self and ltp
Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.

So what you say is: "rtfm before playing"?

And btw your link doesn't give any information about the problem/solution here: If you dont know, that a dropped rare has a minimum of 4 affixes, you maybe get fooled trying to craft multimod, because you cant see and the game gives you (in that case) no information about how much affixes are used/left.

Overall what is the point of your posting?
Yes, this is one of the difficult parts in poe, some hybrid combinations are hard to tell.

But... you need a huge time investment to get the master and the currency. Then you want to craft your personal best-ever-item. I also didn't know that dropped rares have at least 4 mods but for such a crafting project, I'd collect every single piece of information I could get.

Playing with high-end stuff should involve some risk... and some benefit if you know the mechanics.

(btw, not looking down on you, I play with 4L items at lvl 82, melee)

There are cases where it's not possible to be 100% sure what mods it got. But when dropped it's never useful to multicraft and when you Trans/Aug/Regal yourself you can trace what mods it got.
When you buy something it might be impossible to be sure if it is a crafted 3mod or a dropped 4mod item, so you will have to ask and trust the seller.
