Live Bands You've Seen Over the Years
|
I saw Cephalic Carnage live and at the end of their set the lead singer screamed bloody murder about someone meeting him out back in 5 minutes with some weed to smoke. Me and one other friend who came with me met him out there and gave him a packed bowl to mull over, it was a funny night.
Only been to one other show and it was Inquisition and Marduk which was quite nice. I had the idea to wear some old beat up BDUs and I just stood up front with my arms crossed like a statue frowning like hell and staring them down the entire show. Mortuus seemed to get a bit angry about my behavior. He gave me several annoyed glances as if to try to provoke me to get my area of the crowd a bit riled up. The show was a bit calm for his taste, he also seemed annoyed in general that a lot of people were sitting. Last edited by Astealoth#7168 on Nov 23, 2014, 11:57:50 PM

Ice T Ice Cube Wu Tang Clan De La Soul Public Enemy Gang Starr Cypress Hill Beastie Boys + shitloads more, spent so much time in the 90s' either at festivals/gigs or at raves/clubs. I'm surprised I can still hear anything now. Think my favourite performance was seeing Nirvana at the Reading Festival in '91, was before Nevermind had been released so they were only halfway up the bill but played a lot of stuff from it - was great to hear the songs first in a much rawer form than they came out on record. Kurt Cobain finished up being carried off stage after diving in the drum kit at the end and breaking his arm. Can't really get at all excited about new music as I can about most stuff from the late 80's & 90's :( |

Too many. I will mention the most memorable
1) Led Zeppelin (O2 arena in 2007) 2) Five Peace Band (John Mclaughlin, Chick Corea, Kenny Garret, Vinnie Colauita, Christian McBride-the best jazz fusion supergroup ever) 3) Pace De Lucia (R.I.P.) 4) Johnny Winter (R.I.P. - he couldn't really walk or stand, or even see, but he gave a killer show) https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/417287 - Poutsos Flicker Nuke Shadow Last edited by Poutsos#0458 on Nov 25, 2014, 8:16:16 AM

I took a 900km bus trip to see Nine Inch Nails in 2000 or 2001, closest they ever played at the time.
But the best memory was seeing Dimmu Borgir performing at a pub in 1996 when nobody thought they would ever get famous (and mildly shit). Be ready. You're not paranoid, you're PREPARED.
I quit this game every few months and so should you to continue playing it in the future. The device is believed to have been dropped |

Probably more NZ bands that no one has ever heard of than others.
