Yeah, it should be a unique like:
X% more armour (probably 500-1000%) Armour protect against any damage Resistances become zero IGN: MortalKombat

Life and ES count as the same
3k life char would lose 3% per sec, 4k 4%etc in other words, the tankier you get, the harder degen hits you the more Ele dmg you use to boost Phyz, the more you hurt yourself a quiver?
