Race Events and League Ladders - Season Nine, Event 69: One Hour Party - Forum

Standard rules for league events apply. Please click this link if this is your first race event. A guide has been posted here which covers general aspects and strategies of racing. Top Prizes: The overall alive top player by experience will receive 3 Reward Points. The top 20 alive players of each class by experience will receive: #1 player of each class: Demigod's Eye (Unique Golden Hoop) and 10 Reward Points. #2 player of each class: 6 Reward Points. #3 player of each class: 5 Reward Points. #4 player of each class: 4 Reward Points. #5 player of each class: 3 Reward Points. #6-10 player of each class: 2 Reward Points. #11-20 player of each class: 1 Reward Point. Prizes for reaching specific levels and staying alive: Level 24: 10 Reward Points. Level 20-23: 7 Reward Points. Level 16-19: 6 Reward Points. Level 13-15: 5 Reward Points. Level 10-12: 4 Reward Points. Level 7-9: 3 Reward Points. Level 5-6: 1 Reward Point. Quest Prizes: The first player to complete each of these quests wins the prize listed. Normal difficulty Medicine Chest (Tidal Island): 2 Reward Points. Normal difficulty Deep Dweller (Flooded Depths): 2 Reward Points. Normal difficulty Brutus (Upper Prison): 2 Reward Points. Normal difficulty Fairgraves (Ship Graveyard): 2 Reward Points. Full-clear Prizes: The first player to kill all of the monsters in any of the following areas will receive: Normal difficulty Fetid Pool: 2 Reward Points. Normal difficulty The Den: 2 Reward Points. Ah nuts, destroyed by a giant pack of exploding squids right at the end. Zero points for me :( Was going pretty slow anyway, no MS boots but I did get a nice unique. I think some of the drop rates should be adjusted for quick races like this as there's just never enough ID scrolls or orbs. C'mon, lets trick these puppies up and see what they can really do! so i had the most retarded Climb layout of all time, it literally took me 4-5 minutes to just run through o.O had a bit of a troll lower so i was sulking quite hard... uhm where are all the duelists? i played solo and won the duelist demi? why so many marauders >.> had to pick duelist for this 24th overall but > 4th Marauder > Reached level 22 Spoiler Playing with 70-80ms ping, which is causing long loading between zones, resulting in 2-4 minutes disadvantage in 1 hour races. Good start with DEM GLOVES at Ledge. Gained a lot of tempo when my shield dropped just before Brutus. A few minutes later the sword dropped and allowed for safe investment in 1H talents.
