[2.1 Ghazzy - Summoner Guides] High Budget Builds

If someone would be so kind to link their gear and gem setup that would be great. This guide has been going on for a long time. I think some are confused by the gems and their placement. thanks.

I respeced my level 99 Templar into this build after mapping one day with Ghazzy. This Templar has been everything, and I mean everything as far as builds go. He has died over 1800 times lol. I use him because he has so damn many passive points to try out new builds. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to Ghazzy for the advice on the build, and keeping the guide alive.

Yo Ghazzy dont know if you still check this, but why are those enlightens needed? i just checked all the auras you listed with the tree and stuff and i can run them, i have sufficient mana and life left even without the enlightens. could you elaborate?

When calculating all the auras it doesn't match up at all to be managable without the Enlightens, well the mana one sure but it is to help out the mana to make room for you to cast with vaal haste.

I remember having a converstion with you on stream a while ago where you said a +3 is the best.

Reduced Mana => Enlighten, thats the only change there. An offcolor became a main color on gear basically!

When it comes to Pledge vs +3 this seems to be an endless topic during The Awakening...
To answer the question;


+3 is better WHEN;
* You run ZO/EB
* You can sustain the mana cost having Multistrike in your 6L WITHOUT speccing in to any extra mana/mana regen and/or mana cost reduction nodes. As those points should be spent towards more jewels providing minion damage & cast speed.

Pledge is better WHEN;
Neither of the above requirements are met.


In the end, the damage difference isn't that big so you can check the cost for each staff and decide yourself which route you'd like to take :)

Hey, I have a level 3 empower instead of a level 4. Would multi strike or something be better?
Also, normally, how many spirits should I be able to summon, I am getting 19-20 spirits max. I do not have jewel slots yet though for cast speed jewels.
Also one last thing(makes it easier for future people to see if I type in different posts) how big of an impact are jewels and isn't it worth it to get enough mana regen to run multi strike. Don't do the math, just think about clear speed.

LvL 3 will still be great, and Multistrike is added when your mana can sustain it over a Culling Strike (unless you're using Pledge of Hands where both should be used)

This completely depends on what stage of gear you have, what jewels you have but around 35ish+ with Vaal Haste is recommended.

Jewels provides Minion Damage which is the biggest source of damage any minions will ever be able to get. Jewels are worth EVERYTHING in the end, you shouldn't even consider taking 3points to get cast speed for example, getting another minion jewel is a TON better in every way!
For the sake of clear speed you can always remove a gem and replace with faster casting on top of your stuffs to further enhance the clearing speed.

Everything besides the pledge is stash trash. Think how cheap this build is. honestly I accidentally bought a 6l pledge, 5l is almost equal. I can't afford mana cost to run melee damage on full life yet so I run reduced mana which is pretty neat. look at my gem levels, then think about what I am about to say. I am a level 70 who is soloing 77 maps. yes thats how awesome this build is. TY ghazzy. For reference, I have 5.2k ES and NO jewels yet.
