How much HP is needed for....

taking a hit from Domni's fist in 78 palace no damage rolls on map?

I have:
3900/500 - hp / MoM
38% evade
40% attack dodge
46% spell dodge
31% spell block
84 all resists

^^ he can easily 1 shot me, even though I have nearly every defensive ability in the game.


So tell me, how much HP would I need to survive this? Or should I just consider this spike damage infinite and expect to desync while whirling and get 1 shotted?

I was hit for 6900 before the life nerf with boss damage/speed - not sure if his damage has been nerfed since.

If he crits and you stand in the shocking ground of his flicker you are dead unless immortal call and 90%+ lightres. So don't try him in hc if you are melee.

If you are not melee and/or not playing hc, why do you care?

I care because I want to earn exp and not skip so many bosses. Sure, I can continue skipping it but nothing is learned from doing so. I feel disappointed that all my defenses are worthless against this kind of 1 shot mechanic.

1 shot dead,happen without armor.

i think you can get 1shot even at 10k life from that bastard, use immortall call for him

Dodge and block is irrelevant, because if you get it, they'll not reduce the damage.

So you have 4400 effective HP +84% resist.

A big part of the fist is physical damage (?50%), so a good strategy for him would be to run enduring cry and if you go near him just cast immortal call.

I believe your main problem is not the lightning part, but the physical. As far as I can see you have pretty much no physical mitigation. Which is alright during normal gameplay (with block and dodge), but not when you fight bosses that do 10k DPS.

Edit 2: let's assume he does 10k damage and 50% physical. You'd need 5k life just to tank the physical part of the attack + 1.7k for the lightning part (@84%res). Tldr - use ic ;)
