HASTE: worst %60 aura or am I missing something?
" what sort of characters are you using here? Casters? If you are using attack base characters you can run 2x 60% auras and still sustain any amount of attacking. 2x 60%s + 2 passivs like Primal Spirit/Mana Flows/Soul Siphon, linked with reduced mana gem obviously. When you get somewhere into merciless and reduced mana is leveled up a bit eventually you get about 60 free mana, that will keep growing with char and gem levels. Once youre at about 60 you can sustain pretty much all physical attacks with 2% mana leech somewhere on your gear or tree. I was sustaining a 9 attacks per second reave off about 60-70, char has leveled a bit and I have about 100 free mana now. Any phys attack from melee weapons or bows I have ever tried can sustain with 2% leech in those situations. If you use elemental attacks you probably need the bloodmagic gem, but personally I always go for phys attack builds and I always run 2 large auras without bm gems, those things are horrible man they take away a damage support. No life leech/loh gems either, again get it on tree and gear, blood drinker, maybe 3/4% on the amulet, perhaps a 1/2% on a ring or gloves. I aim for minimum 4% but in an ideal world you get as much as you can squeeze in. The Reaver I was referring to earlier uses only dual wield/1h melee/pure phys nodes, which lets me use any weapons. I have a sword in the main hand and a gut ripper claw in the offhand, gut rippers have +15 life on hit implicit, I got 2% life leech from tree (blood drinker) and 2% life leech on gloves, 2% mana leech on amulet. That completely sorts out sustaining life and mana so I can just run all my support slots with damage gems and run grace + hatred while attacking off mana. No aura nodes at all, no -reserve etc, not needed. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

I use it on my dual strike shadow as much for the MS as the DPS increase.
Running around quicker speeds doing most things up. Would be great if it was only 40% and I could run Herald of Ash as well though (on top of Hatred). |

Would not mind a movement buff on it, I don't think it needs more IAS.

I have a tanky build CoC'er
I run haste which helps attack speed (which means more crits more frequently) and also helps me "shoot n scoot" better. |

For SRS users, Hatred over Haste if you had to choose only one? Or vice versa?

" haste, because you are a caster , not a minion build. unless you have other minions like zombies then hatred is better , but if you are pure caster srs , haste or neither. as many have said the 10 or so ms is fun to have. haste is an odd skill, its pure dex with a heavy dex requirement , yet no one i know that stays in the dex area uses it . it is not worth 60% mana reserved unless you get aura nodes, even for a caster since you are better off finding 3 cast speed nodes and essentially have the same outcome Last edited by Saltychipmunk#1430 on Oct 6, 2014, 10:15:46 AM

My auramancer loves it. Don't think I would consider it on many other builds, though. Hatrid outclasses it completely on most melee builds, for example.
