Does PoE feel like work now that we have dailies?

Does anyone else feel this way?
I have 3 masters at 8, rest at 7. The grind was fun but now that I have them at 8... Whats the point to still doing the daily? Do I have to do it to refresh the unique item offer every day? It feels like the game is forcing me to do them every day, and i'm starting to dislike PoE because of it. Remember all the protests when we first heard about the introduction of dailies. It was going to drive people away from the game. Were they right? |

Another case of no life and the consequences.
Welcome. Edit: Since my original post isn't constructive... I was on the same path at the start of Rampage. I was doing no life tidal farming. After a couple days I said to myself "This will make me want to quit PoE"... I no lifed til all were 6 aside from Zana and then just stopped and started playing normally. Now my Tora and Elronzo are almost 8 and I don't really do the others. I love the Masters and a lot of the missions, just not Cata.. Last edited by terrex#7466 on Oct 3, 2014, 5:37:18 PM

I'm in the process of lvling my masters to 8, and they are all a bit into lvl 7 and I know for sure im not going to grind for masters ever again. I will only do them as I encounter them the next league :) So boring, but nobody is forcing me to do it so I only have myself to blame.

I'm only taking my masters up to level-6 at most, and that's in Standard. I can't imagine how futile it would feel to level them up to 8 in a temp league.

When anything in life feels like work and you're not getting paid to do it, it's time to step back and reassess the situation.

You're as much forced to grind dailies as you are to grind maps. Think of all the uniques you might have missed in the time you took to write this post. Back to work!
