Where did your Chain Support Gem drop?

Was about a week into Open Beta, had two drop pretty closely somewhere in Act 2 Cruel (I want to say Fellshrine). Sold one for an exalt, died with the other on my Ranger (massive desync in Act 3 Catacombs). Haven't had one since.

Somewhere in HC. An HC defaulter gave it to me for free as part of a 5L chest sale. Wasn't that nice of him? ;-P

Seen them drop in normal.
Certain items are restricted to certain areas because of ILVL. Dont believe this is the case with gems. Invasion - No Sacrifice No Glory

I don't really get what's so great about chain, I had one drop and the mana cost and damage in comparison to LMP/GMP doesn't really seem worth it. Unless hitting someone you didn't aim at in a game where turning around is instant is really that big a deal?
