Where did your Chain Support Gem drop?

Searched the web and the forum for common locations where the Chain support gem drop
but found nothing.

So if you found a Chain support gem, what zone/difficulty did it drop for you?

Act 3 - Solaris Temple 2 - Cruel.

That's because there aren't any. It has the same chance of dropping from any mob that can actually drop it regardless of where that mob is.

Well surly all mobs have a loot table, the first character in the game can't possibly have a chance to drop an end game unique. Because I couldn't find any type of statistics and no clue of where they drop I thought I just get some sample locations from people in the forums to get an idea.

p.s it's very unlikely all mobs that has the gem in their loot table to have the same drop percentage.

Actually yes, even the fist zombie you kill on the beach can drop things like chain, a GCP, or similar.

First few characters I skipped them completely, then I saw this youtube clip with a guy showing how to speed level and he skipped most mobs and only went for chests and crates
so that is for sure a good tip to anyone.

That would just flip how fundamental loot tables work.
I can't think of any game before that has had this.

It just seem so unlikely, Imagine the length of that drop table of the first guy..
How many items are in the game that is droppable..few thousand? That is one LoNG list to check...for EVery single monster in the game.
The end boss of the hardest difficulty would have a chance to drop the worst and most common item too with this being true.

I'd love to see some official words about this.
