It gives a flat 1% crit chance.
X is crit chance of skill/weapon add +1% to that. Crit chance is then multiplied by increased crit chance from stats. Adding to your flat will make your multipliers that much better. If you go Trickster, Voidbringer could be a great glove choice.

Honestly
"Shadow Trickster - Free cyclone (can drop elreon gear), bunch of ES/evasion and good movement speed." Shadow Trickster might be one of the best in terms of gear choices because you get to drop Elreon gear and lose the blood magic and clarity for two other gems too. |

how should the leveling tree progress? im not sure where to put all my points and what balance of nodes i need to have when i turn on the build.
what links are people using with trickster now that clarity isnt needed? im thinking of putting herald of thunder (or wrath, what deals more dmg?) and warlord's mark (WM for the 4L voll's stages) and faster casting/IAoE. lastly, how in the world deos he deal with chaos damage? So in my version of the build before ascendancy I went Chaos Immune. I got up to 5.6kES. With trickster I am going with blashphemy warlords for 4l. CI this time as well since I get bonus ES which should give me more ES. I am not going to use heralds or wrath since that messes with EE.

4L: Cyclone - Cast on Crit - Discharge - Blade Vortex
5L: + Increased Critical Strikes or Life Leech If you don't add life leech, you need either Blasphemy/Warlord's Mark or passive tree leech (ex. Berserker). |
