2.3 Fakener (budget fake Mjölner) build - Trickster Version

Assassin perks don't look great for this build.

Full life effect ruined by vortex.
Low life effect is negligible, the enemy was going to die soon anyways.
Power charge on non-crit is worthless b/c vortex.
DoT stuff is worthless
Bleeding/poison/maim? sounds worth little.

So the only good one is crit multiplier per power charge + base crit chance.

Templar inquisitor and Witch Elementalist look good for this build, though. Trickster, though, to answer your question.

Got a few new Upgrades, stats are now:

8200 ES
3.83 APS
92.2% crit Chance on Discharge
93.5% crit Chance on Cyclone
63% increased Item Rarity
43,000 Discharge Damage

Cyclone Mana Cost: 4

Scion for Aspeed and posibility of multicrit nods at the beggining.
Shadow for some ele damage boost at the beggining

I'd say Scion is the best.

Any tips how to kill trio on atziri? I don't have problem with duo, when i killed trio i didn't have problem with atziri, but trio kill me almost in every run. I got 1838 life (after clarity) and 3318 es (with discipline) My resists are 74%, 79%, 83% and chaos -30%.

also, which shield is better in ur opinion?



with spirit shield i have 1000 es more, but Saffel's have block chance applied to spells.

I respectfully disagree. Inquisitor as well as elementalist are really not that outstanding in terms of utility AND damage. The crit multi of the assasin does probably more damage than all damage nodes from I or E ... and the base crit with 7 power charges up is also quite high (I'd even say that they gonna "nerf" those numbers prerelease because they seem really strong). Trickster is a viable option if you wanna focuse on more defensive perks.

There's btw a change coming to the increased critical strikes gem to adress the issue with controlled destruction. That might also change a few things.

The real question is whether all this crit and crit multi from assasin is even needed. It is pretty easy to reach a very high crit chance and its also quite easy to scale crit multi as well (for example with facebreaker). Thats the reason why I would choose the trickster. It gives you a lot of defensive properties. 250 ES with Shade forms and Swift killer +1 frenzy are ridiculous. Drop EE and squeeze a second curse like elemental weakness into the build and its gonna be equally strong in terms of damage but with way more survivability.

And you wanna skip walk the aether? Looks great have not to worry about mana, you can run double curse with disc, looks a lot better to me

I have no mana issue with double curse right now (with two elreon rings) and clarity. So yes I would run it without it... but you can easily drop swift killer and switch into walk the aether;)

Low life for being HYBRID and probably no chaos ress, i suggest u to go CI.

On the shield side: i use ES shield for the whole cleaning + vaal / trio, then swap to Saffel at Atziri (5200ES at CI with saffel, more than enough)
