Why is this posted in the Shadow forum? Did I miss something?

And as a quick note:
No reason to keep Cyclone level 1. It costs the same amount of mana at level 20 anyway.

Love this build, but decided to do it slightly different.

So, here is what I did:

I use blasphemy with Warlords Mark and Poachers Mark. Why? Because of Life Leech, Endurance charges (I don't have a voll's amu), Mana on hit (I don't want to use blood magic), Frenzy charges and a shit ton of accuracy (my Poachers mark is currently level 17 and it lessens the evasion of cursed enemies by a whopin 47%, and I need that because I don't have a good enough vagan dagger).

And I have to say, it works incredibly well. I used a 4 link voll's protector until I got into maps and it was perfectly fine. It still works great as a 4 link in maps, I just wanted the 5th link for bosses.

My gear at level 77:



I was incredibly lucky with colouring and linking the chest (used like 20 chromes to get 3 green, two blue and then 7 fusings to 5 link it).

Firestorm is great as a second spell because it a) kills everything in your wake that survived discharge and b) because it gives you lots of power charges during boss fights. Vortex Blade is just there for the power charge generation during boss fights, it's easy to get 5 to 7 blades going all the time. And everytime one blade crits (I think one blade hits like twice per second) you get a power charge. It's really amazing.

Apart from the two curses on blasphemy I use herald of ice, which leaves me on currently 34 unreserved mana. Cyclone costs me 5 mana, so it's easy enough even against curse resistent bosses. Curse immunity sucks though.

Judging from your gear and gems you're not outleeching the damage done to you effectively. This has to do with your current lvl of Discharge. As for now I would suggest going with Blasphemy + Assasin's Mark for more frequent and fluid blasts (also doing more dmg) and with some utility gem to support you like Vaal Discipline. Also keep that fortify up. And lvl up your Discharge.

discharge has more levels, have more ES and overall better gear. I die to big physical hits like dungeon boss (im level 86 i feel like i wasnt supposed to die to tier 1 boss). i have a legacy granite up all the time aswell! phantasmagoria boss also kills me easily.

will you have an updated tree for Shadow? I think I came into shadow forum but the tree is for scion it seems

Which dagger would be preferable?



Long run, the Skean can be multimodded. But I'm unsure of whether the attack speed or slightly higher base and implicit crit is better. I sit at around 90% crit chance with the Skean and 7 power charges, while I'm capped with the Imp Dagger.

How to level this starting from Scion? (including Tree path)

I have currency to buy decent stuff so everything that helps me level up can be mentioned
