2 Handed Melee Builds, they need a buff.

There ain't no buff in the world that can save them.
Any buff to weapon damage or defenses is just going to make ranged variants more effective (hello sprektal throw). Any buff to skills themselves is going to make 1-handed variants more effective. Unless we get totally retarded nodes like '+2 to maximum resistances while wielding a 2-handed weapon and using a melee skill'. IGN: NNQQ, Sporkay, Rands_

" there are way to go around that like giving them diferent tags, ST like skills could get the semi melee tag while skills like infernal blow get the pure melee tag, both will benefit from melee nodes but only akills like infernal blow will benefit from pure melee nodes, then is just a matter of adding an extra boost to 2h nodes say: old enforcer: 18% increased damage with melee weapons +20 str new enforcer: 18% increased damage with melee weapons +8% increased damage to pure melee +20 str not a very neat way but it get the job done. ----- second option is changing pure melee skills bonus old infernal blow: +4% to melee damage per level new infernal blow: 4% to 1 handed melee damage per level 6% to 2 handed melee damage per level it wont make 2h viable for semi ranged skills but at least they will be viable for pure melee skills self found league fan

I love my 2h builds. Screw people who need a build to be able to do 100000000000k dps. 1k dps or bust. :P

You can deal great dps with a good 2H weapon, there are great mirrored weapons atm.
I think that 2H builds need a buff in defences. Better armour mechanics only for 2H or something similar... |

A defensive buff is not what they need. Two-handers are meant to be all about sacrificing defense for offense. The problem right now is that they sacrifice both for nothing. They need offensive buffs.

We need more melee skills that are more interesting than what we have now maybe something specifically for 2H? Also the 2H nodes are complete garbage usually no one really wants accuracy nodes which is what most of them offer. Good thing the GGG devs have said they are looking to revamp around the Templar and Marauder trees though
