Constant desync on and off peak hours
Before the most recent patch where you fixed the Lightning Ball bug. The only frequwnt lag/sync issues I would have would be with lightning spells. Of any kind would almost instantly desync me if cast by a monster. Guarenteed to desync if it was a mob mod with lightning warp or some other lightning spell. Now after this patch, I constantly have desync problems. Even on maps with 0 mods.
This was never the case before. Last edited by petsuch#7885 on Sep 23, 2014, 3:32:53 PM

... It would be really nice to actually be able to play. Still, constant lag/desync if I run into any mob that casts ANY spell. Once again I would like to reiterate this was never the case until the "lightning ball fix." I can not even run a normal map without desyncing a dozen times. This is not due to my internet.
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3782140435 Most of the time I can barely even move in map now. Before it was only spells such as ightning warp and lightnin bal that really desync'd when a mob had it. Now if any mob has a spell it is guarenteed to desync me. Even something as simple as fireball and yet also still happens with spells as animated as lightning ball. |

I would also like to point out that if it is raining in w/e map I am trying to do. I have to entirely abandon it. Rain causes constant desync as well. So bad that when I /oos my screen corrects nearly an inch.

Hey petsuch,
Can you please specify your issue further? Are you having framerate issues when mobs use certain items? Are you experiencing lag or disconnectivity issues when this happens? Can you please press 'F1' in-game next time you experience this and let us know of any drastic changes or spikes in the above graphs? You may need to try Verifying your Game Files. We would be happy to help diagnose your connection for you, however we would need to go through the initial steps of checking if your Firewall/Antivirus/Security programs are interfering with Path of Exile's connectivity, and making sure you use a wired connection to your modem/router. Feel free to also let us know anything you have tried to address this issue. Need Support? support@grindinggear.com.

I do not run anti-virus or firewall software while gaming. I also disable Windows on board firewall as standard procedure with any windows OS because of how bad it is and rely on my own software when I do have a firewall running.
It is Framerate issues. I typically run at about 25-30. I have actually already viewed this in game already. It will go as low as 5FPS, Minimal latency spike. Before the recent patch with the lightning ball update. It was only lightning mobs casting lightning warp or lightning ball typically that would cause any issues. After the patch 2 weeks ago. Now any spell mob does this. Aside from fireball mages. Unless they are augmented, which still cause it to happen. Also the undying arsonists trap in specific, but not his fireball. |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | 192.168.1.1 - 0 | 264 | 264 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 10.91.32.1 - 0 | 264 | 264 | 5 | 7 | 17 | 6 | |dtr01lkahca-tge-0-1-1-3.lkah.ca.charter.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 6 | 8 | 18 | 8 | |crr02rvsdca-tge-0-4-0-4.rvsd.ca.charter.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 8 | 12 | 28 | 12 | | bbr01rvsdca-bue-3.rvsd.ca.charter.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 8 | 13 | 27 | 13 | | prr01lsanca-bue-5.lsan.ca.charter.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 11 | 13 | 34 | 12 | | eqix-la2.softlayer.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 12 | 15 | 34 | 15 | | ae19.bbr01.eq01.dal03.networklayer.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 44 | 46 | 76 | 47 | | ae0.dar01.sr01.dal01.networklayer.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 44 | 46 | 71 | 45 | | po1.fcr05.sr06.dal01.networklayer.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 44 | 47 | 86 | 46 | | patch101.pathofexile.com - 0 | 264 | 264 | 43 | 46 | 57 | 46 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider |

Hey petsuch,
So you do not experience any latency hitches while playing Path of Exile? But frametime and fps drops? You are welcome to post a DxDiag report here so fellow users can address it further, and feel free to try turning down some in-game graphical options and see if that makes a difference to your performance. Need Support? support@grindinggear.com.

Minimal latency spikes. Usually only Uniques bosses cause some latency. Especially if the map has been upgraded. What spikes do happen with latency recover within millisseconds. I do always expect some frame time and FPS spikes due to my low end graphics card, but it has never been anywhere near this bad until the last 2 weeks.
Sadly, all of my in game graphics are already on the lowest settings. They always have been since I began playing P.O.E. I have a lower end video card so this was req'd for me to be able to play even originally before the issue had arisen. I did run DXDIAG, and it appears some files are missing for some reason. Tried in multiple different ways to reinstall DX11 to repair these missing files. It will not replace them. Although, all tests run run smoothly when running their graphics tests in DXDIAG. I have windows 7 and I was not provided with the install disc for disc reinstall of DX. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 9/24/2014, 11:35:17 Machine name: TONY-PC Operating System: Windows NT (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 Language: English (Regional Setting: English) Processor: AMD K15 (Model 6) MMX Memory: 4096MB RAM Page File: 0MB used, 4095MB available ------------------ DirectX Components ------------------ ddraw.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:10 Size: 531968 bytes ddraw16.dll: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes ddrawex.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:10 Size: 30208 bytes ddraw.vxd: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes ddhelp.exe: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes dxapi.sys: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes d3dim.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:08 Size: 386048 bytes d3drm.dll: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes d3dxof.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:08 Size: 53760 bytes d3dpmesh.dll: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes dplayx.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:12 Size: 213504 bytes dpmodemx.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:12 Size: 23040 bytes dpwsockx.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:12 Size: 44032 bytes dplaysvr.exe: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:14:18 Size: 29184 bytes dsound.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:13 Size: 453632 bytes dsound.vxd: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes dinput.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:11 Size: 136704 bytes dinput.vxd: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes vjoyd.vxd: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes msanalog.vxd: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes joy.cpl: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:14:09 Size: 138240 bytes gcdef.dll: 6.01.7600.16385 Final Retail Date: 7/13/2009 18:15:22 Size: 120832 bytes gchand.dll: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes dxsetup.exe: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes dsetup.dll: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes dsetup16.dll: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes dsetup32.dll: <File Missing> Date: Size: 0 bytes --------------- DirectX Drivers --------------- --------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series Manufacturer: Chip type: DAC type: Display Memory: 3067.5 MB Current Mode: 1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz) Driver Name: Driver Version: () Driver Attributes: VDD: Mini VDD: Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series Manufacturer: Chip type: DAC type: Display Memory: Current Mode: Driver Name: Driver Version: () Driver Attributes: VDD: Mini VDD: Card name: RDPDD Chained DD Manufacturer: Chip type: DAC type: Display Memory: Current Mode: Driver Name: Driver Version: () Driver Attributes: VDD: Mini VDD: Card name: RDP Encoder Mirror Driver Manufacturer: Chip type: DAC type: Display Memory: Current Mode: Driver Name: Driver Version: () Driver Attributes: VDD: Mini VDD: Card name: RDP Reflector Display Driver Manufacturer: Chip type: DAC type: Display Memory: Current Mode: Driver Name: Driver Version: () Driver Attributes: VDD: Mini VDD: ------------- Sound Devices ------------- Description: Speakers (High Definition Audio Device) Driver Name: {0.0.0.00000000}.{d601140b-b34d-4781-a5cf-0e469acd0755} Driver Version: () Driver Attributes: Date and Size: , 0 bytes Last edited by petsuch#7885 on Sep 24, 2014, 10:11:40 PM
