[2.1] Nalaa's Phys Lightning arrow | 5L 30k dps

Thats not bad, but don't forget, mine has a lot of resist. The one you made has almost none, and no 30+ int nodes which you most likely need atleast 1-2 for wrath AND also yours require 3 more points than mine OH AND 8% move speed.

The hybrid build has access to resists, int, and celerity. The main difference between it and yours is that it has Golems Blood at the cost of 3 wasted passives (30 str). I understand you aren't building around regen though.

Nice build! But, could you compare it with Petrov's OB Damage build?

Nalaa's build is less filled in than Petrov's, so I came up with two possible comparisons. I can't tell you which build is better exactly as I have no idea how useful Iron Grip is in terms of bonus DPS in end game gear.

Petrov's All Out DPS vs Nalaa's + Attack Speed

Spoiler
Nalaa ends up with these differences:

+60% physical damage (from Iron Grip, note that some will be converted to elemental)
+15% elemental damage
+7% attack speed
-24% projectile damage

Petrov's All Out DPS vs Nalaa's + Projectile Damage + some attack speed)
Spoiler
+60% physical damage (from Iron Grip)
+15% elemental damage
-4% attack speed
-12% projectile damage

Other Pros/Cons of Nalaa's:
Spoiler
+8% life
+Access to Vaal Pact
-1.5% life regen
-20 life
-No Access to Shock, Blood Drinker, Bloodless

Great work, ffhighwind!
The Iron Grip question is a tough one!
Maybe the biggest doubt in elemental bow ranger builds...
I think Nalaa's might be stronger... idk
It is impossible to take a view on whether Iron Grip is worth taking a significant detour for without knowing what gear you are pairing it with. I can't be more specific than this: if you are going to stack physical damage on a bow, then Iron Grip is very important - for example, checkout the Lioeneye unique bow. If you are going to go with a basic thicket bow with lots of flat elemental damage mods on your gear, then Iron Grip is only worth taking if you're in the centre cluster anyway.

Excuse me for being a complete noob but does this mean you have Elemental Hit x2 and Lightning Arrow x2 on your skillbar?
Another question.... is Resolute Technique skippable?!
Why grab it if rangers have high accuracy?

Because unless you have a lot of accuracy gear, your dex alone is not enough to keep your hit chance up. Resolute technique guarantees you your life on hit and your DPS and none of these specs go for crit nodes anyway. And since we get static blows, we don't need to crit targets to shock them.

Got it. Thx!
