The True Successor to Diablo 3

I played Diablo 2 Hardcore for years. I waited a decade for Diablo 3. When I read on the Diablo 3 forums that the developers had decided to move away from a complex skill tree, I knew immediately the game wasn't going to do it for me.
I quit only after a few weeks, extremely bored. This game, in my eyes, f*cking DELIVERS. Everything that you could do to make Diablo 2 a better game, they have done, and it is now called Path of Exile. Blizzard got owned on this one. I will be exiled for a very long time to come... RIP to all my HC n*ggas who lost one... |

This game is the true successor to everything. Havent been addicted to a game from L2 era..

I agree, PoE is truly what this genre needed.
D3 was enjoyable in certain aspects but overall a huge disappointment and nowhere near as good as D2, mainly because of it's simplicity and complete lack of depth, and of course the AH which completely ruined the way the game is played. |

" Hate to say it but the AH was not even close to what ruined D3. People that were going to buy items were going to 3rd party sites and if you didnt you werent going to compete with them, there AH give us equal grounds. How about the abuse of bots, lack of help from blizzard, piss poor itemization, skills, maps. Limitation to follow story crap instead of making a game and just killing monsters. How about the horseshit BNet 2.0. AH did nothing to d3s downfall. |
