Even though i think this is a rather tedious matter ,

i do think it would be cool if there was a ui replacer , perhaps one that uses a daemon / angel.

however traditionally these dark fantasy games have had this kind of art choice for resource globes.

Even if you could change them (you can't) there is still TONS of nudity, blood, gore, guts, torture. In no way, shape, or form will this game EVER be appropiriate for sheltered kids.


Let me put it this way, There is an entire area of the game (that you can't skip) where the whole floor is a 3ft deep pool of blood with dead/dying naked bodies floating in it. The player walks along raised platforms to navigate the level. Also, waterfalls of blood and torture racks with ripped in half bodies on them.

There is another level which is like a giant golden palace with giant golden statues of naked men/women with penises and vaginas and boobs.

No simple option is going to change the entire nature of the game

Simply put, this game is not appropriate for kids. If he's having problems with the statues then he's going to need years of therapy if he ever makes it to Lunaris temple....

And lets not forget Marceus the Defaced Warning red rocket! red rocket!

Hey for as many crazy kids naming their characters after genitalia, there would probably be a riot if GGG tried to change it.

I mean calling your character "Stinking_Beaver"... Damn!

And there is worse than that running around.

Ask GGG for micro-transaction tchador for statues, can be some money to be made.

actually change the game to windows mode and then load up some porn site in the background will get you totally not notice those statues.

The health/mana globes are also not the only instance of nudity in the game. Tentacle Miscreations, Whipping Miscreations, and Atziri herself all have exposed breasts. There's some amount of male nudity in the form of the Marceus statue.

Past that there's the whole topic of "why is nudity bad if ripping people into bloody giblets is okay?". "Obscenity" Relativism is a weird thing.
