How Rampage bonus should have been

Stage 1:
>10% increase MS/ attack speed/ cast speed

stage 2:
>+10% increase MS/ attack speed/ cast speed
>+10% increased item rarity

stage 3:

>+10% increase MS/ attack speed/ cast speed
>+10% increased item rarity
>+5%item quantity

stage 4:

>+10% increase MS/ attack speed/ cast speed
>+10% increased item rarity
>+5%item quantity
>Spawn Swords

stage 5:
>+10% attack speed/ cast speed
>+10% increased item rarity
>+5%item quantity
>Spawn Swords
>1% life leech

stage 6:
>+10% attack speed/ cast speed
>+10% increased item rarity
>+5%item quantity
>Spawn Swords
>1% life leech
>1% mana leech

stage 7;

>+10% increased item rarity
>+5%item quantity
>Spawn Swords
>1% life leech
>1% mana leech
> 15% extra damage

stage 8:
>+10% increased item rarity

>Spawn Swords
>1% life leech

Rampage Lord: when you hit stage 10, a giant pentagram spawns on the floor with white monster starts appearing, then 5seconds in champions monsters spawn along with white ones then 10seconds in white,champions and elites spawn and 15seconds in the Rampage Lord spawn with like 20 white, 10champions, 5rares and his 2 Unique Guards

that didnt need much more time and work than what we got and it would be way more fun and effort rewarding


each stage would be cumulative


Note: Numbers arent balanced, they are just there to get an idea

But then it would have been an actually challenging (tedious) league. GGG moved away from their previously stated intent that the temporary leagues are harder than Standard. Both Ambush and Rampage are/were easier. (And shrines in Domination weren't exactly difficult).

Your suggestions are a bit convoluted. Increased IAS and movement is already a thing. At 600+ especially it felt like 50% more IAS and a huge movement boost(50+? maybe more). You also get a previous movement and IAS bonus around 100.

Simplicity is nice. Is rampage that exciting and influential on gameplay? Not really, especially compared to strongboxes/anarchy/nemesis and such. I don't think a loot bonus would be wise though, currently it hovers between being quite good and still optional enough that you don't obsess over it. I guess it can be slightly buffed at the 300-500 mark though to be worth it some more.
