Herald of Ash/Frost replacing Microtransactions?

The first time I turned on Herald of Ash I was so bewildered that they would add this huge pyre flame effect to the hands that obnoxiously clips through you as you run after massively toning down the Aura effects. I just don't get it.

I'd buy an mtx to tone it down for sure, hate how it looks.

On my bow ranger, the HoA effect clashes pretty badly with the purple Regal effect. Those two colors don't go well together. I don't mind too much, and I imagine it is nice for folks who have no MTX. I'll probably just move the effect to another character.

Herald of Ash has the best looking effects in the game, yet people are here whining about some MTX they bought ages ago aren't completely visible ...
"My fugly moose gloves aren't visible because of the awesome fire effects, GGG please nerf !" Okay I understand the point, especially because like every physical build now uses it, but man I'd be pissed if they changed it. My molten strike attacks looks 5x as cool now, or should I say 'hot' ! Maybe there could be a simple toggle in the Options that allows you turn off all character effects from auras and Heralds.

" Its not the best solution for everyone though. I think they should just make the self buffs be under the feet like an aura even though theyre not auras it would be a nice fit as the hands as it is are where the weapon effects run through. |

i hate the way these heralds look, just way over the top, far too big, just looks ridiculous.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

for the record, i think the herald of ice glow goes nicely with plain arctic armor and discipline force field effect and divine weapon effect, i look like a winter storm incarnate.
