"Additional Accuracy" surprisingly helpful for minions?

yeah i am going to double back on what i said before .. it seems accuracy is pretty darn important for minions.

While +level does help ultimately not enough.

the big reason to use multi strike at all is as an off switch gem for melee splash .. but it should never be used in a primary setup regardless

added fire dilutes the pool too much especially since poison is dead in beta which means we are back to hatred being the aura of choice over haste.

minion speed unfortunately is basically like an increased aoe gem that lacks the matching conc effect gem to switch out

this leaves either faster attacks or .. accuracy. and you can already get a decent amount of free attackspeed from flesh offering , frenzy charges, passives, and auras

(30% , 45%, 8-20%, 15 -21% - 90%)

I searched reddit for srs calculator and guy said that despite few % differences "path of building has my blessing". While I could maybe get slightly higher dps with using 4red gems, I just prefer culling or accuracy for fun mana cost. Also, I never played srs build that doesnt have hatred AND haste. Maybe I am making some things wrong :)
Why bother finding a Mirror of Kalandra if it can be [Removed by Support]
Killing the Elder or Shaper while following someone's build is like finding a street using google maps - such an achievement!
Can you link the source of the ''blessing'' on reddit?
Because i could not get this idea out of my head, but i also don't fully trust PoB or anything when it comes to this sort of weird thing.

I created a generic srs build in PoB with +2 6l and started messing around, the thing that buggs me was that when using L20Q0 gems except for accuracy, despite the fact that it supposedly gives 1% per quality, the dps bump only happened at 9% quality on accu gem, the next one was at 21%, in both cases it was relatively tiny, what gives?
Is the accuracy actually so bad that it scales absurdly well (at least visually) with raw +accuracy but the quality really cannot do nothing much because the base hit % is still so low, or is PoB just freaking out and reporting some false positive numbers when it comes to the interaction (if there even is any)?

edit: Right, this is broken AF, i call placebo on this, that or PoB is glitching out big time, certain added acc levels don't even register, quality doesn't account for anything which is odd for a tool that can apparently help you minmax your dps up to absurd levels of detail, so as i said - if it really was that much worth that it actually manages to beat point per point an empower gem, people would have been running it for as long as any other srs setup that generally is accepted among the ways to go.
No rest for the wicked.
Daiena i quoted your post as a question for the Pob thread.

This occurs because the hit chance is rounded to the nearest integer, so it's possible that gaining a small amount of accuracy won't increase the chance. But the hit chance shown is only an estimate anyway, as the actual chance to hit depends on the target's evasion rating, which varies considerably; so trying to optimise your accuracy value is rather pointless, and in fact part of the reason the program rounds the hit chance at all is to discourage the user from attempting to do that.

Seems to be working correctly after all. Kind of like breakpoints in diablo 2.
