Wildman - Kickstarter
Hey all,
Wanted to give some props to the Wildman Kickstarter. While their initial video was very weak on detail, I feel it's come around and I really hope it gets funded. There's enough room in my heart for PoE & Wildman. :D Give it a look: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gaspoweredgames/wildman-an-evolutionary-action-rpg |

Have to give this more of a read later.DS3 was such a disappointment not sure what to make of the 'Spiritual sucessor to Dungeon siege'.

" Different group of people. Gas Powered Games are the guys who made DS1 and DS2 - DS3 was developed by Obsidian and published by Square Enix. That said, the game looks kind of interesting, but the cartoony graphics are an instant turn-off for me, personally. What have you become when even nightmares fear you?

Just thought I would pop in and say if you have not backed Wildman do it! You are missing swag giveaways and allot of comradrie on the forums and the Kick starter page. Not to mention you will get a awesome game if this gets funded!
As for the cartoon like graphics those are place holder as far as I am aware. The art style (Concept art at least) is getting more and more serious. Here are some Concept art that are from the Kick starter page - ![]() ![]() |

I think it's highly unlikely this kickstarter's gonna float. I also would advise against backing it. GPG is on a skeletal crew and they didn't even reveal this until they had to, a few days into the kickstarter. This is their last ditch effort to save the company. Not that I hold any resentment to them, but that smacks of deception to me. Asking for 1.1 million when they didn't even have the decency to originally admit to their financial instability... I'm not so sure I trust the lead guy when he said GPG has "no debt".

I am currently pushing for a financial doc from GPG and I do agree the kick starter will most likely fail however stranger things have happened on kick starter.
As for the trust part of the equation - I am a trusting person - I normally do not think about things such as well wire fraud etc. Last edited by HeadClot#7791 on Feb 6, 2013, 10:54:31 PM

I had a lot of fun playing DS with friends at the time, but I've generally found the complete lack of..."character", for lack of a better word, to be a pretty big problem for Chris Taylor and GPG. Total Annihilation, Dungeon Siege, Demigod, Supreme Commander...even if they get all the mechanics down, the presentation tends to be so bland that I don't want to spend time with it.
