[1.2] Tornado CoC EK Build - Cheap, effective and very fast

Rat's nest would be a good choice?

I have much to do in the moment, so I can´t play it regularly. BUT it should be map viable, I am 100% sure. AND I got these two bad boys.
The bow for free (Yay!) and the gloves as a drop (yay!)




The bow alone increases my dps by alot :P

Very nice build, could you post updated skilltree. I saw it yesterday but today is missing after your updates.

I followed the idea of this build now up to lvl 74, but have a quite different skilltree.
Am using both Heralds and Hatred and can do most maps so far (except those chaos dmg spider maps and some other stuff).
I might respec some of the tree later on to fit my needs and adapt to equipment, but right now it works out great.
Got maligaros last time and am now hunting for a rats nest to further push my crit.

I'm lvl 60 on Rampage with your build and it's going well so far. I have only been using 4L Tornado, LMP, Incr Proj Phys, Faster Attacks. Survivability is an issue on some bosses/exiles and in groups. My gear is pretty much crap though, as I have 0 resists in Merc. I'm looking forward to trying other gem setups once I collect all the gems.

2 general questions for you.
I noticed you avoided some crit nodes in passives? What is a good crit % to be aiming for?
You are very close to some defensive nodes, increased % evasion for example. Would it be a good place to put remaining points?

For your first question: The more crit the better. More Crit = more EK = more enemy deaths = more loot :P
I am currently at ~ 20% I would aim for like 20-30% depending on gear/unique choices.

For your second question: It is definetly worth to invest in defensive nodes, especially if you are playing hardcore :P
Evasion will be turned to armor (if you go for IR) which is always good. Otherwise you can try to skip some damage nodes and try to get to the life cluster near the scion start.



EDIT: If you have mana problems while running Herald of Ash + Herald of Ice + HAtred you can do the following:

Herald of Ash is way better than Herald of Ice.
Herald of Ash at level 1 gives more than Herald of Ice on lvl 5. Just stop running Herald of Ice then.
