The -15% exp penalty is obnoxiously bad outdated design.

Having exp loss in a grindy game where you can randomly go 3000+ -> 0hp in the span of 3 seconds is retarded design.

Now add in bad netcode, rubberbanding, invisible projectiles and burning aura mobs that still do full damage 3/4 of the screen away(in your client) and this is the complete opposite of fun.

It isn't too bad. I think once the server issues are straightened out, it'll be fine.

Only someone mentally challenged would describe a grindfest hack and slash game as challenging.

I disagree that it is bad design. It gives the player an incentive to play smarter, and not just keep rushing an area until they finally succeed.

As for the problems with rubberbanding and the like, it is a BETA. The devs have made no claims that the game is bug free or server stable.

If people can make it to lvl 90 in hardcore, i dont see the problem.

Hey im Losing too much xp, im always at 0% because im bad, my gear is bad and my build is very bad

Please remove xp penalty so even my grandmother can reach high level

And then nerf merciless is too hard

Also even if you did play with pure defense chicken !@#! style of gameplay where you pull and fight mobs so slowly you can still get killed by desynch issues/lag/RNG for shield wearers.

Well then don't die? it's a matter of not only going glasscannon..you have to do some defence aswell..and yeah, it's merciless..
