Computer Crashes after random time played.

I have a gtx 590, i7 3770, p8z77 mobo, can play d3 for hours wiht no problem, at first i tought it was an overheating probem, couse it seems people r getting their GPU fried, but it turns out im getting crashes even with my GPU @ 60º.

Yeah im gona have to leave the game till they can figure this out, funny thing is that there is no responses in the overheating problem and in the crashing problems.

Edit: Ill be happy to provide any reports, like dxdiag or stuff like that, just ask me.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread. I haven't had this problem until the update to 0.10.1d.

Last night my computer died as described by op: monitor cuts out, sound goes wonky, and I have to shut off the power and restart the computer. I have not, as of yet, checked to see if this is an overheating issue. However, I've not had any overheating problems with this computer since I built it in 2010. Windows 7 x64 is my operating system.

My computer specs:

* Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard
* Core i7-950 3.06GHz Intel processor
* Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler
* Gigabyte GV-R685D5-1GD Radeon HD 6850 video card
* Corsair XMS3 6 x 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 1600 SDRAM
* 2X Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA HDDs in Raid 1
* Lite-On 24X DVD Writer Black SATA Model iHAS-324-98
* Antec TruePower TP-650 650W power supply
* Cooler Master Elite 430 RC-430-KWN1 ATX Mid Tower

Someone suggested turning off HDMI sound earlier. I checked my system, and I had HDMI listed as not connected. I selected it and chose "Disable" anyway just to be sure. I'll play the game and see if it still crashes. If it does, I'll try turning off shadows as suggested earlier in this thread.

As an aside, this is a Radeon 6850, similar to what other people have stated. Bleh. The 6850 was always a bit glitchy anyway. I regret ever getting that card.

Exact same problem but I'm getting blue screen of death. This is completly random gameplay times. I tried turning crossfire off and its still occurring.

Win7 x64
24gb DDR3 RAM
2x ATI 6870
6core i7 extreme.
Same here, Black screen and sound loop's or stutter, only fix is a total system shutdown.

HD7800 series
Ram 8GB
Win7 64bit
AMD Phenom II x6
I had same problem on GF 9600GS and its not a computer problem coz I run FC3 and many other new games coz I play on low resolution just coz of bad monitor and it works for me. And I dont know what to do ? Any solution? :D HELP
I'm having the same problem with an NVIDIA 660 card. I initially had the issue on some other games I played until I upgraded my power supply. Never had the issue until I booted this game up for the first time. Unfortunately after playing this game and going back to play something different I'm now having the issues in the other game as well. Not sure what's going on but I was running very smoothely until I installed this game. :(

I did enjoy it but I think I'm done until we get an official response on this.
happening on my system aswell since the latest patch.

I got a new power supply, hard drive and upgraded video card from Nvidia 8600 GT to Nvidia 650 GTX, nothing improved. Random time and total freeze up requiring hard restart. Had no problems prior to recent upgrades of game. They must of done something wrong BIG TIME.
