Invisible spells? Seen this with the torture chamber laser beam, too. Stuff happening server-side that isn't happening client-side.
That's pretty much the definition of desync. Good luck getting desync fixed. No idea what to say about the minions, but I'm guessing they added convocation specifically for the purpose of gaining control in instances of minion AI failure. Best of luck with this issue.
